Men's Fellowship

The Monninger Men’s Fellowship was initiated during the ministry of Rev. Alfred Asare Gyan but became fully established under the leadership of Rev. Dora Ofori Owusu, who strengthened the group and helped it stand firmly on its feet. The Fellowship was officially inaugurated on 25th September 1983, during the laying of the cornerstone of the present chapel by the late Rev. I. H. Frimpong, then Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Since its formation, the Men’s Fellowship has played a significant role in supporting worship, strengthening church activities, and contributing to the overall development of the congregation. Objectives of the Men’s Fellowship The Fellowship was founded on key principles that continue to guide its mission: Promoting Unity: To foster close relationships and encourage oneness of purpose in worship and service. Supporting the Church: To offer the professional, vocational, and spiritual experiences of members for the growth of the church. Collaboration: To work closely with similar organizations within the church to achieve collective goals. Social & Spiritual Development: To promote the legitimate social, moral, and spiritual activities of members in a peaceful and supportive atmosphere. Preserving Discipline: To help sustain the traditional Presbyterian discipline at all times. Activities of the Fellowship The group meets every Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, engaging in spiritually enriching and educational activities such as: Bible Studies Prayer Relays Angels & Mortals Video Shows Talks & Symposia Outreach and evangelistic programs Social and educative activities to strengthen fellowship The Fellowship has consistently provided resources, equipment, and welfare support that enhance worship and contribute to the church’s growth. Membership The Fellowship currently has 43 active members, committed to serving the church and supporting one another. Past Leadership The first executives of the Fellowship were: President: Bro. J.
