About This Ministry
Building strong foundations for young adults navigating life, career, relationships, and faith.
The Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) is the youngest of the official fellowships within the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. It was established at the national level during the General Assembly in 2007, with the purpose of bridging the transition from youth fellowships to adult Christian service.
At the Rev. Friedrich Monninger Congregation, Akosombo, YAF was formally introduced in 2008 under the leadership of Rev. David O. Asare, then District Minister. Since its inception, the Fellowship has grown steadily into a vibrant and committed group contributing significantly to the spiritual and social life of the church.
Mission and Contribution
From the beginning, YAF has demonstrated strong dedication to supporting church growth, mission work, and community development. The Fellowship has been actively involved in:
Supporting Preaching Posts
YAF has contributed to the strengthening of various preaching posts within the district, including:
Survey Line
Asagya
Mpamproase
Sedorm
Infrastructure Support
The Fellowship has played a key role in providing physical support to the church’s mission by:
Building pavilions for Mpamproase and Survey Line
Purchasing land at Sedorm for the construction of a church pavilion
These groundbreaking initiatives highlight YAF’s commitment to expanding the church’s reach and improving worship environments.
